Oracle Dyn Case Study: GLOBAL FOOD CHAIN Overview A global, high-end food chain led by a celebrity chef with business interests in television production, a chain of 80-plus restaurants, books, and publishing turned to Oracle Dyn to protect multiple web sites. The client opted to use our WAF, based on proven performance, a global network for content caching, and significant bandwidth savings. Challenge The Oracle Dyn WAF was deployed to secure approximately 12 sites with a combined total of 50TB/month. The client leveraged our full-featured web security solution to offer caching services and to protect its highly popular web properties, which had previously been subject to attacks. The following is a snapshot of some statistics covering a 30-day period for this particular customer: The Solution We worked with the firm to manage bot traffic, tune rules to account for vulnerabilities in the technologies powering the sites, and create access rules.
