While protecting 15 domains, the customer took advantage of Oracle Dyn Managed Services to assist with configurations, threat hunting, and other functions, including providing a single point of contact for escalations. The company was able to use the same interface and API calls that cloud- deployed customers would--with direct control over the custom instances, with no additional overhead in management of log delivery, metrics, change control, among other things. Results As a result of their work with Oracle Dyn, the customer gained a hybrid architecture that enabled them to deploy enterprise-grade web application protection on premises and retain control over SSL certificates and private key management without having to relinquish control to a third party. The highly responsive support team was capable of remote management and upgrades of the software stack on a routine basis, per strict change management protocols and SLAs. Oracle Dyn has made it possible to deploy an enterprise-class web application security solution on premises at the edge of our customer's network, using either a dedicated hardware appliance or virtual environment. We worked with the client to integrate into their network, to include log forwarding to a collector, health checks, agent monitoring, and other operational aspects.
