Prerequisites Software • Virtual Machine (VMware) – You must have a system setup with a virtual machine instance. Contact Oracle Dyn for information on non -VMware installs. • VMware Virtual Appliance image – Oracle Dyn will supply the appropriate image. • Install and Configure Instructions – Oracle Dyn will supply appropriate instructions. This document outlines the requirements to properly setup the virtual appliance. Once correctly set up, this appliance will regularly run traceroutes, collect the data, and forward the data to Oracle Dyn for analysis and historical records.
