exist between them. Integration of our defenses is the key to better security overall. What I have also discovered is that regardless of the security tech‐ nologies deployed, when there is no integration, no automation, no internal intelligence sharing, and no symmetrical actions being taken between the lines of defense, attackers will continue to achieve success at the cost of the victim. Simply put, there must be a better way. The need to look elsewhere for a more effective model is warranted. My next suggestion is to make a comparison to today's modern mili‐ tary.
